Naramata Permaculture Farm Garden
The Naramata Permaculture Farm Garden is located in the heart of Naramata Village. It offers the community a place to enjoy Nature while learning how people can coexist with healthy ecosystems that provide food and joy.
Funded in 2019, the NPFG was envisioned by Catalina Polloni and Tomas Oyarzun and built in partnership with the Naramata Centre.
Approximately twenty core volunteers actively collaborate and co-create the garden. Different events during the year such as art exhibits, community harvests, guided tours, etc. animate the greenspace and create social connections in the community. The garden is a David Suzuki Butterflyway site, which recognizes and supports the garden’s efforts to provide habitat and food for pollinators and other species.
